Yogi Ramsuratkumar Ashram

Yogi Ramsuratkumar Ashram, located on Chengam Road about two and a half kilometers from the main temple, houses the samadhi of Yogi Ramsuratkumar, affectionately called the Visiri Saamiyar, who passed away in 2001. The ashram offers short term free accommodation for pilgrims and a well known lunch service open to all walkers on the Girivalam route. Devotional singing and a peaceful, unpretentious atmosphere define the space, reflecting the saint's own teachings of surrender and simplicity that continue to draw devotees from across India.
