Sri Govindarajaswami Temple in Tirumala is a significant Vaishnava temple dedicated to Lord Govindaraja, a reclining form of Lord Vishnu, located within the Tirumala hills near the famous Venkateswara Temple. It is one of the 108 Divya Desams, the sacred Vishnu temples celebrated in the verses of the Alvar saints. The temple was built during the Vijayanagara period and features fine Dravidian architecture with towering gopurams. It is a major stop on the Tirumala pilgrimage circuit and receives thousands of devotees daily alongside the Venkateswara temple.
