Naali Kinaru (Sacred Spring Well)

Naali Kinaru is a natural spring well located within the precinct of the Thiruchendur Murugan temple, revered as a source of sacred water used for ritual purification before darshan. Pilgrims traditionally begin their temple visit by bathing here, believing the spring water cleanses the body and soul in preparation for approaching the deity. The well is fed by a natural underground source and produces fresh water even in summer months, which is considered miraculous given the temple's proximity to the saltwater sea.
