Murugan Kulam (Temple Tank)

Murugan Kulam is the sacred tank associated with the Thiruchendur Subramaniya Swamy Temple, used by pilgrims for ceremonial bathing as part of the ritual preparation before temple entry. Taking a dip in the kulam is considered an act of spiritual cleansing, following an ancient practice that connects the devotee's body and soul to the sanctity of the temple before approaching the deity.
