Yeoor Hills

Yeoor Hills forms the Thane-side extension of Sanjay Gandhi National Park, rising just a short drive from the city center. Trails wind through dense forest cover past streams and seasonal waterfalls, drawing joggers, cyclists, and weekend trekkers in equal measure. The hills shelter leopards, pythons, and over a hundred bird species, making early mornings especially rewarding for birdwatchers. Most visitors enter near Upvan Lake or the Tikuji-ni-Wadi gate, climbing an easy plateau trail that takes under an hour for casual walkers.
