Pangateng Tso, commonly called PT Tso Lake, is a high-altitude glacial lake at about 4,000 metres situated along the Bumla road east of Tawang. The lake is less visited than Madhuri Lake and offers a quieter, more contemplative experience. The still water acts as a perfect mirror for the surrounding snow-capped peaks and the vast blue sky. The shores are covered in alpine grass and during summer months Brahma Kamal and other Himalayan wildflowers bloom around the banks. The lake is considered sacred by the local Monpa community. Like Madhuri Lake, a special permit from the DC Office and Indian Army is required to visit.

- How to Reach: About 30 km from Tawang town on the Bumla road. Usually visited on the same day trip as Madhuri Lake. Special permit required from DC Office Tawang and Indian Army.
