Hatakeshwaram

Hatakeshwaram stands about five kilometers from the main temple, close to the Paladhara Panchadhara streams, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Tradition holds that the lingam enshrined here was originally made of gold, and devotees believe it carries exceptional power to cure illness, drawing pilgrims seeking relief alongside those simply continuing the wider temple circuit. The site stays open through the day for darshan, and its quieter setting away from the main shrine gives visitors a calmer stop on the Srisailam trail.
