Christ Church stands in Kasauli, roughly twenty seven kilometers from Solan, and remains one of the most recognizable landmarks of this former British cantonment town. Built close to 180 years ago by the same British family that founded Kasauli, the church displays simple Gothic style architecture that has weathered well against the hill town's pine forests. Its quiet interiors and old world charm continue to draw visitors interested in the colonial history of the region, even though the church sits just outside Solan's usual day trip radius.
