Raipur airport (~80 km) is the nearest major airport. Mahasamund railway station (~35 km) on the Raipur-Vizag line is the nearest railhead. NH30 connects Raipur to Mahasamund.

Sirpur archaeological site is near the Mahanadi floodplain - some areas get waterlogged in heavy monsoon. Stick to paved paths.
