Ganeshwar Archaeological Site

A 4,000-year-old Harappan-era excavation site in Neem ka Thana, also known for its naturally occurring sulphur hot springs.

Ganeshwar is an archaeological site in the Neem ka Thana tehsil of Sikar district that has yielded remains of a civilization dating back roughly 4,000 years, contemporaneous with the Harappan period. Excavations here uncovered copper implements, ceramics, and structural remains that suggest a significant early settlement. The site is also notable for naturally occurring sulphur-infused hot springs that attract visitors year-round. Ganeshwar is a popular picnic destination for families from Sikar and Jaipur, and remains one of the lesser-known but historically important archaeological discoveries in Rajasthan.
