Devgarh Fort

A hilltop Rajput fort built in 1787 at 2,100 feet in the Aravalli hills, 10 km from Sikar, offering dramatic views and royal heritage.

Devgarh Fort was constructed in 1787 during the reign of Rao Raja Devi Singh of Sikar and sits atop a hill in the Aravalli range about 10 km from the city center at an elevation of approximately 2,100 feet. The fort commands expansive views over the surrounding terrain and is a striking example of Rajput hilltop military architecture. The property has been partly converted into a heritage hotel, but the fort structures and elevated vantage point remain the primary draw for day visitors. Ornamental mirror work and murals in the interior spaces reflect the aesthetic sensibilities of the Shekhawati Rajputs.
