Dwarkamai

A mosque turned shrine where Sai Baba lived for over six decades and kept his sacred fire burning.

Dwarkamai is the dilapidated mosque that Sai Baba transformed into his home and meeting place, where he resided for an unbroken span of sixty years until his samadhi in 1918. The site houses the Dhuni, the sacred fire Baba lit and tended daily, its flames never allowed to die even today. Devotees gather here to witness the fire, view the stone on which Baba sat, and absorb the quiet intensity of the place where Sai Baba's teachings and miracles unfolded.
