Kufri

Kufri is a small hill station located about 16 km from Shimla at an altitude of approximately 2,600 metres. It is known for its winter sports, particularly skiing and sledging on snow slopes that remain covered from December through February. The Kufri Fun World amusement park and the Himalayan Nature Park, which houses Himalayan wildlife including snow leopards, are the main attractions. The viewpoints around Kufri offer spectacular panoramas of the Himalayan ranges, and horse riding on the slopes is a popular activity for visitors. Kufri makes for a pleasant day excursion from Shimla.
