Chadwick Falls is a scenic waterfall located about 7 km from Shimla town in a forested valley, dropping about 67 metres into a rocky pool below. Named after a British engineer, the falls are surrounded by dense deodar and oak forests and are a popular trekking and picnic destination. The trail to the falls passes through quiet forest paths and offers a refreshing escape from Shimla's crowded Mall Road. The falls are most spectacular during and just after the monsoon season when the water flow is at its peak.
