Don Bosco Museum, officially the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, is widely regarded as Asia's largest museum dedicated to indigenous peoples. Set in a distinctive hexagonal seven-storey building in Mawlai, its 17 galleries document the traditions, textiles, tools, music, and spiritual practices of over 160 tribal communities across all seven Northeast Indian states. A rooftop skywalk rewards visitors with panoramic views of Shillong. Plan for at least three hours.
