Beadon Bishop Viewpoint

Viewpoint in Mawlai with city and sunset views.

Beadon Bishop Viewpoint in the Mawlai Nongkwar area of Shillong overlooks a deep ravine where the twin waterfalls of Bishop and Beadon Falls plunge down the East Khasi Hills. Bishop Falls, formed by the Umshyrpi River, drops approximately 135 metres in a slender ribbon-like cascade, while the narrower Beadon Falls rushes alongside it. With no motorable road to the falls themselves, this hillside viewpoint is the only accessible vantage point, especially rewarding on clear afternoons and at sunset.
