Barishaler Ranna Ghar is a lunch-only Bengali kitchen set in the forest belt near Ilambazar, a short walk off the main road. The regular veg thali is the base of the meal, with rice, ghee, shukto, dal, aloo bhaja and dhonkar dalna. Add-ons include posto bora, morola maach jhal, bhetki paturi, desi chicken curry and mutton. The chhanar payesh finishes the meal. It is open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and closed on Tuesdays.
