Jogulabhavi

A wayside sacred well and small temple near Renuka Sagara, where pilgrims bathe before ascending Yellamma hill.

Jogulabhavi is a sacred well and temple in the low lying area near Renuka Sagara, on the customary pilgrim route to the Yellamma temple. Devotees stop here for a ritual dip, believed to cure skin ailments, before continuing up Yellamma hill for darshan. The site is distinct from the smaller tanks inside the temple complex itself, functioning instead as a preparatory stop that pilgrims visit on their way, giving the wider yatra its own unhurried rhythm.
