Haidakhan Temple, also spelled Hairakhan, stands in the Haidakhan Baba Ashram at Chilianaula, a short drive from the Ranikhet bus stand. The ashram is linked to Haidakhan Babaji, whom devotees regard as a form of Shiva, and the grounds hold tall statues of Shiva and Hanuman. Navratri draws larger crowds for yajna and evening aarti. Stay in Ranikhet and visit in the morning when the courtyards are quieter.
