Sadri is a small town in the Pali district about 8 km from the Ranakpur temples, historically known as the gateway between Mewar and Marwar under the Sindhal Rathore rulers. It serves as the commercial and logistical base for visits to Ranakpur and is home to several significant religious sites. The Chintamani Parasvanath Jain Temple is a major pilgrimage stop for Jains. The Parshuram Mahadev cave temple, a Shiva shrine carved into the hillside with 500 steps leading to it, is one of the most important shrines in the region for Hindu pilgrims.
