Rajgir Zoo Safari opened in 2022 as Bihar's first drive through safari, spread over roughly 190 hectares of forest between the Vaibhagiri and Songiri hills next to the older Rajgir Wildlife Sanctuary. Visitors tour five zones by guided bus, including dedicated herbivore, bear, lion, leopard, and tiger enclosures housing species such as the Asiatic lion, Royal Bengal tiger, sloth bear, and blackbuck in semi wild settings. The safari has quickly become one of the region's most visited family attractions, pairing wildlife viewing with the surrounding hills' natural scenery.
