The Pataleshwar Caves, Pune is an ancient 8th-century rock-cut temple carved from a single massive basalt rock. Located on Jangali Maharaj Road, this protected monument is dedicated to Lord Shiva and features a circular Nandi mandapa with massive square pillars. Despite being incomplete, the cave temple remains an architectural marvel, offering a cool and tranquil atmosphere in the middle of the city's bustle.
