German Bakery on North Main Road opened in the late 1980s, close to the Osho resort, and became a meeting place for travellers and locals. A bomb attack in February 2010 killed 18 people; the cafe was rebuilt and reopened in 2013. Today it serves breads, cakes and cheesecakes, all day breakfasts, salads, sandwiches and coffee in an open seating area.
