Chaturshringi Temple stands on the slope of a hill on Senapati Bapat Road and is dedicated to Goddess Chaturshringi, also called Ambareshwari, long regarded as a presiding goddess of Pune. The name refers to a mountain with four peaks. More than 200 steps lead up to the shrine, and the complex also has temples of Durga and Ganesh, along with small shrines of the eight Ashtavinayak. A fair is held at the foot of the hill during Navratri, when thousands of devotees climb to the temple.
