Bedekar Misal in Narayan Peth is one of the old city's best known misal places, run by the Bedekar family for decades. Its misal is milder and more aromatic than most Pune versions, with a kat flavoured with coconut and a touch of sweetness, served with sprouts, farsan, onion and slices of bread or pav. It opens early and is busiest at breakfast time, and seating is simple.
