Yamuna Bridge Area in Prayagraj refers to the area around the historic Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Bridge (New Yamuna Bridge) near the Allahabad Fort, offering views of the confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. The bridge provides one of the best vantage points for observing the point where the dark blue Yamuna joins the muddy brown Ganga, clearly visible as two distinct streams merging. The area is particularly photogenic during the Kumbh Mela when the floodplains are covered with pilgrim encampments and during sunset when both rivers glow golden. It is a favourite spot for photographers documenting Prayagraj's sacred geography.
