Anand Bhavan is the ancestral home of the Nehru family in Prayagraj, now converted into a national museum. The mansion was built in 1899 and served as a hub of India's freedom movement — Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and other leaders spent formative years here. The museum preserves personal artefacts, furniture, photographs, and documents related to the Nehru-Gandhi family and India's independence struggle. Adjacent to it is Swaraj Bhavan, the original Nehru family home, which was donated to the nation by Motilal Nehru. Together they offer an intimate window into one of India's most influential political dynasties.
