Barda Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Barda Hills Wildlife Sanctuary spreads across roughly 192 square kilometres of hilly terrain about 15 km from Porbandar, straddling the Porbandar and Jamnagar districts. Once a private hunting reserve for the region's princely states, it now protects leopards, chinkara, hyenas, and a wide variety of reptiles and birds. The Khambala and Fodara dams sit inside the sanctuary boundary, adding water bodies to the mostly dry, rocky landscape. Winter mornings bring the best wildlife sightings.
