The white World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara.
The World Peace Pagoda stands on Anadu Hill at about 1,100 m, across the lake from Lakeside. It was built by the Japanese Buddhist order Nipponzan Myohoji, and its gilded Buddha images face four directions. The terrace gives one of the best views in Pokhara of the lake, the town and the Annapurna range behind. Keep voices low, walk clockwise and remove shoes where signs ask; video recording is not allowed on the stupa.
