Miramar Beach

A 3 km city beach where the Mandovi meets the Arabian Sea, popular for sunsets and evening promenades.

Miramar Beach is the most accessible beach from Panjim city centre, 3 km from Church Square where the Mandovi River meets the Arabian Sea. A long curve of grey-brown sand lined with palm trees, it is primarily a local favourite for evening walks, sunrise runs and casual swimming rather than a resort beach. From Miramar the 17th-century Aguada Fort is visible across the water to the north, and the wide view of the river mouth and open sea makes it one of the best sunset spots in North Goa.
