Mandovi River Cruise departing from Santa Monica Boat Jetty and Panaji Jetty is Panjim's most popular evening activity. One-hour sunset and night cruises travel along the Mandovi from the city to the Miramar Beach headland with live performances of Goan folk music, mando singing and traditional dance by local performers. The river at dusk, with the Church of the Immaculate Conception and Altinho Hill visible on the south bank and the floating casino vessels glittering downstream, provides a memorable introduction to the city's waterfront character.
