Travelers and soldiers stop here to offer prayers for a safe crossing before continuing toward Pangong Tso, and the complex also holds smaller shrines. Surrounded by prayer flags and thin mountain air, the site carries real spiritual weight despite its small size, sitting beside the pass's tea stall.
