Vimal Shah Temple on Shatrunjaya Hill is attributed to the patronage of Vimal Shah, a Jain minister under the Solanki rulers, and dates to the 12th century. The square-plan temple with its towering shikhara, stepped pyramid roof, and deeply carved pillars depicting scenes from the lives of Tirthankaras represents a high point of Maru-Gurjara Jain architecture on the hill. Its detailed ceiling carvings and characteristic pillar work draw direct comparisons to the celebrated Vimal Vasahi Temple at Mount Abu, which the same patron commissioned.
