Temple Car Street wraps around the base of Palani's main temple and forms the town's busiest shopping stretch. Stalls sell idols, prayer beads, incense, framed pictures and other devotional items sought by pilgrims heading up the hill. Foot Hill Road nearby adds souvenirs like keychains and small statues, together making this the natural place to shop before or after a temple visit.
