Dhoopgarh rises to about 1350 meters, making it the highest point in the Satpura range and in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The peak is best known for its sweeping sunset views, with hills rolling away in every direction as the light fades. A short walk from the parking area leads to the summit, making it accessible for most visitors without a serious trek. Evenings draw the biggest crowds, when the descending sun turns the surrounding forest and rock a warm gold.
