Apsara Vihar (Fairy Pool)

Apsara Vihar, also called Fairy Pool, is a modest waterfall tucked into the forest a short downhill walk from the main road. Water drops about thirty feet into a cool, clear pool below, making it a favorite spot for a quick dip away from the busier falls in town. During the British era the pool was reportedly used by British women for bathing, adding a note of colonial history to the setting.
