Nathdwara's bazaar lanes, radiating from the Shrinathji Temple, form one of Rajasthan's most distinctive shopping destinations. The town is the birthplace of Pichwai painting, a centuries-old tradition of large devotional canvases depicting Krishna's life, lotus ponds and the eight darshan scenes of Shrinathji. Workshops and galleries around the temple sell everything from modest printed reproductions to museum-quality hand-painted originals. Alongside Pichwai, the market offers Kundan and Meenakari jewellery, Rajasthani miniature paintings, silver Shrinathji idols, temple peda sweets and traditional terracotta work from nearby Molela village.
