How to Reach Namchi

Intercity connectivity and travel options

Bagdogra airport (~110 km) or Pakyong airport (limited flights) are nearest. New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railhead then road via Jorethang to Namchi. Permit not required for South Sikkim.

Shared taxis and hired vehicles from Gangtok (~80 km) or Jorethang (~20 km). No public transport directly to major Namchi attractions. Autos within Namchi town.
