Nalanda Archaeological Museum

The Nalanda Archaeological Museum sits directly across from the ruins and holds antiquities uncovered during the site's excavation, arranged across four galleries and a main hall. Stone Buddha images, bronzes, terracottas, and inscribed tablets make up the bulk of the collection, offering context that the bare ruins alone cannot provide. The museum charges a nominal entry fee and pairs naturally with a ruins visit on the same trip.
