Eco Cave Gardens is a distinctive attraction in Nainital comprising six natural rocky caves that have been developed into a themed park. Each cave is shaped and named after a local Kumaon wildlife species - including the panther cave, flying fox cave, and tiger cave - giving visitors a sense of the region's natural fauna as they navigate the narrow passages.
The caves are interconnected and partially illuminated, with hanging gardens above and musical fountains in the surrounding grounds. The park is particularly popular with families and children. Evening visits are recommended when the illuminated fountains and lit cave interiors create a more atmospheric experience.
Located close to Mall Road, making it easy to combine with shopping or a lakeside stroll. Open daily 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Entry fee applies.
