Established in 1892, Mysuru Zoo is among the oldest and most well-maintained zoological parks in India. Spread over 157 acres, it is home to a wide variety of animals including gorillas, white tigers, giraffes, and Nile crocodiles, many of which are part of active breeding programmes. Lush greenery, spacious enclosures, and clean pathways make it a pleasantly visit. The zoo also plays a meaningful role in wildlife conservation and public education.
