Chokramudi Peak

Chokramudi is a moderately challenging trek near Munnar, reaching a summit of around 2,000 metres through a mix of tea plantation trails and open grassland. The trek is popular with beginners and intermediate hikers looking for a full-day outing without the permit requirements of Anamudi. The trail offers continuous views over the surrounding tea estates and distant ridgelines. The upper sections open into wide grassy slopes that give a strong sense of height and exposure. It is one of the most rewarding accessible treks within close range of Munnar town.
