Attukal Waterfall is one of the most accessible waterfalls near Munnar, located about 9 kilometres from town on the road toward Pallivasal. The falls cascade down a rocky hillside through a stretch of forest, with a stream below that visitors can wade into. It is a popular quick stop on Munnar itineraries, especially during and after the monsoon when the flow is at its strongest.
