St Thomas Cathedral

St Thomas Cathedral was built in 1718 as the first Anglican church in the city and remains one of its oldest surviving buildings. It sits at Horniman Circle in the Fort area, painted in soft white and yellow with simple, elegant detailing inside. The church has memorial plaques and stained glass windows that go back to the British era, giving it a quiet, historic feel very different from Mumbai's busier landmarks. Since it stands right across from Horniman Circle Garden, most visitors combine both in one stop while exploring the Kala Ghoda area.
