Opened in 1985 and named after India's first Prime Minister, the Nehru Science Centre in Worli is the largest science museum of its kind in the country. It has more than 500 interactive exhibits covering topics like energy, sound, motion, and transport, spread across a large indoor centre and an outdoor science park. Regular 3D shows and workshops make it especially popular with school groups and families. Its size and hands-on style set it apart from Mumbai's other museums, which tend to be more history and art focused.
