Morjim is one of Goa's primary Olive Ridley nesting beaches. From roughly October to March, turtles come ashore at night to nest, and hatchlings later head for the sea. Sections of the beach may be cordoned off, and flash photography or walking over marked nests is not allowed. Visit with local guidance during nesting season if you want a responsible look at this fragile wildlife stretch.
