The Sabha Mandapa, also described as a rangamandapa, stands between the Surya Kund and the main shrine at Modhera. Its open plan and carved pillars create a ceremonial hall once used for gatherings and ritual performance. Many guides note a set of pillars associated with the fifty-two weeks of the year. Spend time here for the ceiling and pillar sculpture before entering the gudhamandapa.
