Ashoka Sweets is a well-known sweet shop in Mirzapur. The counter carries fresh jalebi, rasgulla, milk-based sweets, bakery items and savoury snacks such as dhokla. Jalebi is the signature item, fried crisp outside and juicy inside. Lassi is also on the menu. The shop is open from 7 AM to 9 PM, so it works for breakfast as well as an evening sweets run. It gets crowded during festivals, so expect a wait at that time.
