Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP)

The Temple of the Vedic Planetarium (TOVP) in Mayapur is an ambitious under-construction temple complex being built by ISKCON to be one of the largest religious buildings in the world upon completion. Inspired by Srila Prabhupada's vision, the TOVP will feature a massive dome representing the Vedic cosmological model of the universe as described in the Srimad Bhagavatam. When complete, the dome is designed to be taller than the US Capitol and St. Peter's Basilica. The project attracts international attention and thousands of visitors and pilgrims who come to witness its construction and vision.
