Srila Prabhupada Samadhi

Srila Prabhupada Samadhi in Mayapur is the sacred resting place (samadhi) of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (1896–1977), the founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The memorial is a grand marble structure within the ISKCON Mayapur complex and houses a life-like murti of Srila Prabhupada. Devotees from around the world visit to pay their respects and to receive the blessings of the founder who spread Krishna consciousness globally. The adjacent museum documents his life, teachings, and the worldwide growth of ISKCON.
